The petitioner has filed this writ petition for issuance of Writ of Page No.1 of 5

Mandamus directing the respondent to make sub division and issue separate patta in pursuance to the petitioner's online application vide Chellan Number:20220629007159 dated 29.06.2022.

2. At the consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was allotted a property to an extent of 50.5 cents situated in S.No.642/6, Thoravi Village, Vikravandi Taluk, Villupuram District by way of partition amongst four brother and the same was duly registered before the Sub-Registrar, Vikravandi vide Doc.No.2446/1965 dated 10.12.1965. In order to demarcate the property and for issuance of separate patta, the petitioner made application by paying requisite fee to the respondent on 29.06.2022 and submitted a online application on the said date, however, the respondent did not take any action. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner filed this writ petition. Page No.2 of 5

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondent to sub divide and issue separate patta in pursuance to the petitioner's application dated 29.06.2022, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

5. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent has no objection for the said order being passed.

6. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials placed on record.

7. Taking into the factual aspects, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's online application dated 29.06.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
