This revision has been filed to set aside the order dated 11.07.2025 made in E.P.No.639 of 2024 in RLTOP.No.68 of 2023 on the file of the XV Court of Small Causes, Chennai.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents.
3.The petitioner has filed an undertaking affidavit, undertaking to vacate the tenanted premises on or before 31.01.2026. The undertaking at paragraph No.4 of the affidavit is extracted hereunder: "4.I submit that, in compliance of the order passed by this Hon'ble Court, I have hereby undertake to quit and deliver the vacant possession of the property to the respondents on or before 31.01.2026 without any subletting to any other persons and suitable orders may be passed by recording this undertaking affidavit in the interest of justice." 4.The undertaking is recorded. As already indicated in the order dated 22.09.2025, it shall be open to the respondents/landlords to initiate separate 2/4
proceedings for recovering any arrears of rent in the manner known to law. 5.The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of, granting time to the petitioner to vacate the tenanted premises, or or before 31.01.2026. There shall be no order as to costs. Connected Civil Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
