ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide police protection to the petitioner for his house renovation work by considering his representation dated 16.08.2022. 2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the owner of the house situated at No.1, C.V.C. Church Road, B.T.Nagar, Gerugambakkam, Chennai 6000 122. The petitioner rented his house to the fourth respondent for running a office in the name and style of "Chennai Electro Tech" for a monthly rent of Rs.14,000/-. Thereafter, on 12.09.2018, the petitioner had issued a legal notice to the fourth respondent and due to which, he vacated the house and handed over it to the petitioner on 14.01.2019.
Since there was a dispute between the 4th & 5th respondents with regard to business transaction, the 5th respondent is disturbing the petitioner from the peaceful possession of the house. Therefore, the petitioner gave a representation to the respondents 1 to 3 with regard to give police protection to the petitioner for renovating his house, but, the same has not been considered so far. Hence, the present petition has been filed.
3.The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondent 1 to 3 submitted that the representation of the petitioner dated 16.08.2022 is available with the third respondent and they will consider the representation of the petitioner.
4.Recording the same, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.08.2022 on merits and take suitable action in accordance with law and provide necessary police protection, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
