The present application had been taken out by the applicant herein to seek extension of mandate for a further period of six (6) months.

2. Heard Mr.Madhuprakash, learned counsel for the applicant and Mr.Kuberan, learned counsel of M/s.Rank Associates on behalf of the respondents.

3. Learned counsel for the respondents has no serious objection to extend the mandate.

4. Considering the stage on which the arbitral proceedings are at, this Court is inclined to extend the mandate for a further period of six (6) months from today. The learned Arbitrator is requested to complete the proceedings and pass an Award within the said period of six (6) months and the respective parties are also directed to co-operate with the learned Arbitrator.

5. Accordingly, this application is allowed.
