ORDER

The writ petitioner seeks a direction to the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petition representation dated 23.07.2024 to provide separate electricity connection for the petitioner petitioner bearing Door No.75/10A Bishop Colony, Little Mount, Saidapet, Chennai-15 in accordance with law.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for TANGEDCO submitted that the petitioner has only given representation and he has to make an application to the respondents. Further, a civil suit is pending in respect of the subject properties between the petitioner and the private respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may permit the petitioner to make an application before the respondents within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Standing Counsel and perused the materials available on record.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this Court permits the petitioner to make a fresh application to the second respondent within a period of two weeks from the date

of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon receipt of such application, the second respondent is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders after providing opportunity to the petitioner as well as the private respondents within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. 14.10.2024 rli To:
