ORDER

The petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents herein to grant Police protection to fence the petitioner's vacant plot measuring 3.45 Ares comprised in Re.Survey No.280/3, Cadastre No.916, 917 Bis., 915/2/2/2/2/2, 915 Bis as per Document, 916, 915, 915 Bis, 917 Bis/2/2/2/2, (as per settlement), Patta No.677, of No.46, Othiyamapet Village, within the limits of Villianur Kombuiyun Panchayat Union, Villianur Taluk, Puducherry, as per complaint of the petitioner, dated 26.07.2024.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. The matter is regarding the measurement of the land, which is purely a civil in nature of work, for which, the Police protection cannot be granted.

4. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
