This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to deal with the petitioner's representation dated 07.08.2024 wherein the petitioner is seeking for recognizing him as the hereditary Mutawalli of the Waqf Chotey Asare Shariff as per the proforma.

2. Heard Ms.R.Sripriya, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.M.Faffir Mohideen, learned counsel for respondents.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the respondents to deal with the petitioner's representation dated 07.08.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law and take a final decision within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
