Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 4 & 5 to provide sufficient police protection to survey, measure and fix the boundaries for the cart track situated in S.F.No.451/B in Naranapuram Village, Palladam Taluk, Tiruppur District in light of the order of this Court dated 19.01.2017 made in Crl.O.P.No.9585 of 2016 and the order dated 17.03.2017 made in W.P.No.6590 of 2017 within a reasonable time frame as fixed by this Court.

O R D E R
This petition has been filed to direct the respondents 4 & 5 to provide sufficient police protection to survey, measure and fix the boundaries for the cart track situated in S.F.No.451/B in Naranapuram Village, Palladam Taluk, Tiruppur District.
2. It is seen that the petitioner has already filed a writ petition in W.P.No.6590 of 2017, for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 2 & 3 to survey, measure and fix the boundaries in the land situated in S.F.No.451/B in Naranapuram Village, Palladam Taluk, Tiruppur District, and this Court by an order dated 17.03.2017, directed the respondents 2 & 3 to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 22.02.2017. Now, the petitioner filed this petition seeking direction to the respondents 4 & 5 to provide police protection to survey, measure and fix the boundaries in the said land.
3. Now, almost two years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh petition, on fresh cause of action, if so advised.
4. With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
