1. A.No.6377 of 2017 in C.S.No.785 of 2015:

The above application is filed for condoning the delay of 649 days in filing the written statement of the 1st defendant. The application is accompanied by the written statement as well. The learned counsel for the plaintiff has no objection to the application being allowed. Consequently, the application is ordered as prayed for and the written statement is taken on file.

640 to 642 of 2018 in C.S.No.228 of 2018:

The applicant is directed to take a fresh notice to the respondents returnable by 14.10.2020.

3. C.S.No.410 of 2018:

It is informed that the defendants 3 to 5 have filed their written statement along with the condone delay petition, the same shall be listed on next hearing.

4. C.S.No.785 of 2015:

Defendants 3 and 4 have filed their written statement along with the counter claim which has to be numbered and brought up.

5. C.S.No.521 of 2018:

The learned counsel for the defendants would submit that they have filed their written statement and the counter claim along with the necessary application to condone the delay and the same is yet to be numbered. 2/5

6. A.No.4634 of 2018:

The learned counsel for the respondent has no objection to the application being ordered. Hence the application is ordered as prayed for. The 2nd defendant / applicant shall be examined. Mr.T.Mohan, learned counsel, No.2, Temple Glade Apartment, Flat No.64, Beach Road, Kalashetra Colony, Beasant Nagar, Chennai - 600090, Mob:80561 00357, is appointed as the Advocate Commissioner for taking out the evidence of 2nd defendant. He shall submit his report by 14.10.2020. The initial remuneration of Rs.75,000/- shall be paid by the applicant in A.No.4634 of 2018.

7. The Registry shall hand over the documents in respect of all the five suits to the Advocate Commissioner.

8. Joint Trials:

i. There shall be a joint trial for the suits in C.S.Nos.410 of 2018, 645 of 2015 and 521 of 2018.

ii. There shall be a joint trial for the suits in C.S.Nos.288 of 2018 & C.S.No.785 of 2015.

Both the trials shall go along simultaneously.

9. Post the matter on 14.10.2020 and parties shall ensure that their pleadings are filed with the necessary applications by then. 09.09.2020 kan 4/5
