.. Defendants Civil Suit filed under Order IV Rule 1 of Original Side Rules read with Sec. 62 of the Copy Right Act 1957 and Order VII Rule 1 CPC for the following judgment and decree :

i) For declaration that the plaintiff alone is the sole and absolute owner of the entire world negative rights of the picture titled "Mellisai" (Tamil colour, Scope) later changed as "Puriyatha Puthir" as per the assignment agreement dated 10.05.2014 among himself and the first defendant, ii) For a permanent injunction restraining the defendants herein their agents, servants, distributors or anybody claiming through or under them from them in any manner infringing the copyright of the plaintiff in respect of the picture titled "Mellisai" (Tamil, colour, Scope) later changed as "Puriyatha Puthir" either by dealing with or releasing, distributing, exhibiting or exploiting the said picture anywhere in the world or in any other manner whatsoever, iii) Directing the defendants to pay the costs of the suit. 2/4

J U D G M E N T

When the matter was taken up today, the learned counsel for the plaintiff submitted that the matter has been settled between the parties and the suit may be dismissed as withdrawn and also made an endorsement to that effect.
