This miscellaneous petition has been filed to suspend the sentence imposed on the petitioner in Spl.S.C.

No.43 of 2019 dated 24.02.2020 on the file of the Magalir Neethimandram, Fast Track Mahila Court, Tiruppur.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3.Since the offence involved in this case is against a child, the petitioner was convicted for the offence under Section 9(m) r/w 10 of POCSO Act and sentenced to undergo seven years rigorous imprisonment.

4.Considering the serious nature of the offence, this Court is not inclined to suspend the sentence imposed against the petitioner. Hence, this miscellaneous petition is dismissed.
