W.P.No.29542 of 2024 and W.M.P.No.32200 of 2024 P.T.ASHA.J, This Court had decided to initiate the suomotu contempt proceedings and also prepared the order. However, the Contemnor, Mr.G.Venkatesan, Sub Registrar, Joint-II, Thousand Lights, Chennai has appeared before this Court and was present in Court from the morning. He has sincerely apologized for the Act committed by him. Therefore, he is directed to file an affidavit in the vernacular, setting out that what he has done is wrong and he would not repeat the same. He shall pay a sum of Rs.25,000/- to the Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority, High Court Buildings, Chennai by tomorrow itself.
