The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 30.07.2024 challenging the order passed by the third respondent in Na.Ka.No.AA1/1237/2024 dated 03.07.2024.

It is the case of the petitioner that she filed an application before the third respondent seeking issuance of patta in respect of the land situated in S.No.92/1A with an extent of 0.01.0 ares in Door No. (Old No.2/68) New No.166 Main Road, Ignkunam Village, Kaanalapadi Post, Kizhpennathur Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District. The said application was rejected by the third respondent by the order dated 03.07.2024. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner filed an appeal before the second respondent 30.07.2024 and the same is pending without any progress. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the appeal pending on the file of the second respondent will be disposed of within a time frame fixed by this Court.

4. In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the second respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 30.07.2024 and 3/5

pass final order, on its own merits, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after affording opportunity to the petitioner and other interested parties if any.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
