ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a mandamus to the first respondent to dispose of the complaint given by the petitioner pending in No.RBI/CMS/N202425027010992/2024-25 dated 29.11.2024 within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Heard both sides.

3. It is seen from the records that the complaint given by the petitioner had been received and acknowledged and the same is pending before the first respondent. The grievance of the petitioner is that in spite of the prompt repayment of the housing loan, the tenure has been extended for five years citing fluctuation of the rate of interest. This issue may be dealt with by the first respondent after affording opportunity to the second respondent.

4. In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to enquire into the complaint given by the petitioner, after affording opportunity to the second respondent, and take a decision within a

period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Index : yes/no 25.08.2025 ss To
