O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to take necessary action based on the direction issued by the first respondents herein vide letter dated 14.08.2023.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted the first respondent vide his letter dated 14.08.2023 has given direction to the second and fifth respondents to conduct an enquiry and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation. Neither the second respondent nor the fifth respondent complied with the direction of the first respondent and they have not conduct enquiry and pass orders on the petitioner's representation so far. Hence the writ petition.

3. Mr.P.Gurunathan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondents 1 to 5 and 9 submitted that second respondent may be directed to take necessary action based on the direction issued by the first respondent and pass orders on merits in accordance with law.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to conduct an enquiry as per directions of the first respondent, after giving opportunity to all the interested/rival parties and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
