This civil revision petition seeks to strike off the proceedings in D.V.No.15 of 2024 pending on the file of the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court, Egmore, Chennai and to quash the complaint in

D.V.C.No.15 of 2024.

2. When I pointed out that in the light of the judgement of the Full Bench of this Court in the case of Arul Daniel v. Suganya [2022 SCC OnLine Mad 5435] the appropriate remedy is to move the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court, Egmore, Chennai, with an application for striking off, Mrs.C.S.Vedavalli, learned counsel appearing for the civil revision petitioner, sought the permission of this court to withdraw the civil revision petition with liberty to approach the learned Magistrate. She has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. Permission is granted.

In the light of the above, the civil revision petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected CMP is closed. Index : yes / no 01..10..2024 : yes / no Speaking / Non Speaking Order
