ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.S.L.Venkatesan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader, for the respondents.

2. It is submitted by the learned State Government Pleader that the encroachment is removed.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that proper procedure was not followed. The property tax was collected by the respondent authorities.

4. No construction permission is placed on record to vouch the genuineness of the construction. The encroachment is already removed. In case the petitioner has any other remedy, the petitioner may avail the same.

The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
