Prayer : This Contempt Petition has been filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act 1971 to initiate contempt proceedings against the respondents and punish them for non compliance of the orders dated 08.09.2023 and 19.07.2024 passed by this Hon'ble Court in W.P.No.21178 of 2023. ORDER
The contempt petition has been instituted to punish the respondents for willful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 19.07.2024 passed in W.P.No.21178 of 2023.
2. The learned Additional Advocate General Mr. R. Ramanlal appearing on behalf of the Vigilance and Anti Corruption would submit that investigation has been completed and prima facie the Investigating authorities found four suspected officials. Actions are initiated to prosecute them and the Vigilance and Anti Corruption Department is awaiting sanction from the Government to prosecute
those officials. Therefore, the Vigilance and Anti Corruption Authorities are directed to pursue the sanction file and prosecute all the offenders by initiating appropriate actions in the manner known to law.
3. With these observations, the Contempt Petition stands closed. However, if the respondents failed to continue the prosecution or commit any lapses, the petitioner is at liberty to file an appropriate petition to restore the contempt petition.
