ORDER

This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed by the petitioner to condone the delay of 111 days in filing the Criminal Revision Case in Crl.RC.SR.No.49821 of 2024 against the fair and decreetal order passed in M.C.No.22 of 2023 on the file of the learned Judge, Family Court, Krishnagiri dated 28.02.2024.

2. The learned counsel for the respondent objected to condone the delay stating that there is no merits in the revision.

3. However, the Hon'ble Supreme Court has held that while deciding the condone delay petition, the merits of the case need not be looked into and though the reason stated in the accompanying affidavit is not satisfied, in order to give an opportunity to the petitioner, the delay is condoned. 17-04-2025 Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes ksa-2 Note: Registry is directed to take the revision on file, if the papers are otherwise in order and list the matter on 21.04.2025.
