This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus seeking for a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.09.2022 seeking for sanction of 9 additional / new posts in the petitioner College.

2. Mr. V.Manoharan, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal in the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner claims that based on their proposal dated 12.09.2022, the second respondent has also forwarded their proposal to the first respondent on 10.10.2022 for passing final orders. 2/5

4. Heard Mr.Martin Jayakumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Manoharan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

5. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation dated 12.09.2022 seeking for sanction of 9 additional / new posts in the petitioner College is considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the first respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation dated 12.09.2022 seeking for sanction of 9 additional / new posts in the petitioner College on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
