ORDER

The petitioners had sought an order from the Court of Small Causes, Chennai for declaration of her daughter's majority on the 1/3

basis of school certificates that had accompanied the application. The petition had been returned since the name mentioned in the claim petition was 'Thilaga' instead of 'M.Rajeswari', which was found on all the certificates.

The petitioner has made a representation before the Tahsildar, Ambattur on 14.09.2023 requesting re-issue of certificates in the name of 'M.Rajeswari @ Thilaga' and prays for a mandamus directing the respondent to consider that representation. Mr.UM.Ravichandran, appearing for the respondent would have no objection to such mandamus being issued.

Hence mandamus is issued to the respondent to consider representation of the petitioner dated 14.09.2023, after hearing the petitioner and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from date of receipt of this order. 5.
