The Manager (T.P.Claims) v. Maniraj Alias Sakthivel

This Petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 63 days in filing the Appeal against the Judgment and Decree dated 10.04.2024 in M.C.O.P.No. 190 of 2016 on the file of the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, Vellore.

2. In the affidavit filed in support of this Petition, it had been stated that the certified copies of the Judgement were mixed up with other settlement files and could no be traced in time and there was a delay.

3. Notice had been directed and counsel had entered appearance on behalf of the respondents.

4. It is also represented that there is a possibility of settlement.

5. In view of that fact, this Petition stands allowed.

6. Registry is directed to number the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal, if it is otherwise in order and list the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal before the Lok

Adalat scheduled to be held on 13.06.2026.

7. The learned counsel for the respondents Mr.C.Prabakaran may be printed in the cause list. The learned counsel states that the claimants will also appear before the Lok Adalat.
