The present Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to issue a No Objection Certificate to the petitioner to run a SPA i.e. cross relaxation massage in the name and style of OJAS PARLOUR AND SPA at R.C.C.Building, Mallamopampatti, Sunder Nagar Bus Stop (Opp) Salem West Taluk, Salem District - 636 302, by passing orders on the petitioner's representation dated 19.06.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents and perused the documents placed on record.

3. It is the contention of the petitioner that though the petitioner has complied with all the conditions stipulated by the respondents, the petitioner was not issued with the no objection certificate to run a Spa, thereby seeks a direction to issue the same.

4. Per contra, on instructions, the learned Government advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents seeks short time to consider the petitioner's grievance.

5. In such view of the matter, it is for the petitioner to follow the 2/4

procedures as per the Rules set out in this regard and as a matter of right, the petitioner cannot seek an order to direct the respondents to issue no objection certificate for running a spa. The respondents shall consider the case of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders. With the above direction, the Writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 29.08.2025 To

1. The Commissioner of Police, Salem, Salem District.
