This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 03.07.2025 and to take action against respondents 3 to 5 under the provisions of Tamil Nadu Irrigation Works (Construction of Field Bothies) Act, 1959.

2. Heard Mr.B.Thirumalai, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.R.Murthi, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 and 2.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case 2/4

and without going into the merits of the case, it will suffice if a direction is given to the respondents 1 and 2 to deal with the representation of the petitioner dated 03.07.2025 after affording opportunity to the respondents 3 to 5 and take a decision within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
