W.M.P.No.29134 of 2023 filed to permit the petitioner to file single writ petition is ordered.

The petitioners are brothers and seek a mandamus directing respondent nos. 3 and 4, being Executive Engineer (O&M) and Assistant Engineer (O&M), to remove and shift high and low tension lines from the lands in Survey No. 112/1 and 112/2 in Madambakkam Village, Madambakkam Main Road, Kancheepuram District.

Mr.L.Jai Venkatesh, who appears on behalf of the respondents files a memo today i.e., 12.10.2023, undertaking that shifting of electrical lines will be commenced immediately and completed within four weeks from today i.e., on or before 12.11.2023. This is recorded and memo dated 12.10.2023 is 2/4

placed on file.

In light of the undertaking given by the respondents, the object of the writ petition stands achieved and the same stands allowed. No costs.
