ORDER

This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed by the petitioner, seeking to suspend the sentence and grant bail to the petitioner / appellant for the conviction and sentence imposed in Spl.SC No.51 of 2021 dated 20.03.2025 on the file of the Fast Track Mahila Court, Erode, pending disposal of the above Criminal Appeal.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

3.The petitioner had committed a very serious and heinous offence against the minor girl and he fails to make out a prima facie case to suspend the sentence imposed by the trial Court. Hence, this Court is not inclined to suspend the sentence imposed on him.

In the result, the petition for suspension of sentence is dismissed. 18.08.2025 bkn
