This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of investigation in pursuant to the petitioner's representation dated 28.09.2022. 1/4

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that on the alleged complaint given by one Sudamani, he is being called for enquiry by the respondent police; in fact, the petitioner is in no way connected to the allegations made by the said Sudamani.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that no such complaint has been given by Sudamani against the petitioner; but, the petitioner alone has given a complaint against Sudamani and same has been assigned with CSR No.344 of 2022.

5. Since the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that Sudamani has not given any complaint against the petitioner and the petitioner has only given a complaint against Sudamani, I feel it is appropriate to direct the respondent police to complete the enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner and do the needful in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

6. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed.
