O R D E R

The civil revision petition seeks for expeditious disposal of H.M.O.P.No.4597 of 2023 on the file of the learned III Additional Judge, Family Court at Chennai.

2. When the matter came up for admission on 14.10.2024, I called for a report from the learned Judge as to how long she requires to dispose of the said H.M.O.P. The learned III Additional Principal Judge, Family Court at Chennai has submitted a report stating that the petitioner/husband has filed H.M.O.P.No.4597 of 2023 for divorce. The wife has also sought for restitution of conjugal rights by way of a counter claim. The learned Judge further states that both the cases are pending for enquiry and therefore, she requests three months time to dispose of both the cases.

3. Taking into consideration the report of the learned Judge, there shall be a direction to the learned III Additional Principal Judge, Family Court at Chennai to dispose of H.M.O.P.No.4597 of 2023 along with the counter claim filed by the wife within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Accordingly, the civil revision petition stands ordered. There shall be no order as to costs.
