O R D E R

The Writ Petition (Criminal) has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent Police to provide police protection for enforcing the order passed by the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai in Crl.M.P.No.31668 of 2022 on 07.02.2023, under Section 14 SARFAESI Act.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. On a perusal of the records, it is seen that the the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, has passed an order appointing an Advocate Commissioner and directing him to take physical possession of the schedule mentioned property.

4. In view of the above, whenever police protection is sought for by the petitioner, it is the duty of the respondent Police to provide such protection to enforce the orders of the Court. Accordingly, the learned 2/4

Advocate Commissioner is directed to make a representation to the respondent Police one week prior to his visit and on receipt of such representation, the respondents shall provide necessary police protection.

5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition Criminal stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction. No costs.
