PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023/ Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the learned the Hon'ble Metropolitan Magistrate for exclusive trial of CCB Cases (relating to cheating cases in Chennai) and CBCID Metro cases, Egmore to dispose the case in C.C.5378/2023 on the file of him within the time period fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction directing the learned the Metropolitan Magistrate for exclusive trial of CCB Cases (relating to cheating cases in Chennai) and CBCID Metro cases, Egmore to dispose the case in C.C.5378/2023.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the first and second respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. Considering the limited prayer sought for in this petition, the Metropolitan Magistrate for exclusive trial of CCB Cases (relating to cheating cases in Chennai) and CBCID Metro cases, Egmore, is directed to complete the

trial in C.C.5378 of 2023, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
