Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to make proper action as per the representation to the letter and spirit dated 01.12.2017 to take necessary action against the unauthorized multistoried building construct by the fifth respondent at Ambattur area and to save the public life and real Democracy in Tamil Nadu which openly ignored by the officials making the public to risk their day to day life, letter and spirit.

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) None appears for the petitioner. On 15.06.2023 also, when the matter was called out, none appeared for the petitioner. The matter was adjourned to today (24.07.2023). Today also, none appears for the petitioner.
2. Learned counsel for the fifth respondent filed counter, which states that after obtaining necessary permission and approval from the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority vide Application No.L.P.(S&S)/MMDA No.9/94, the land is developed. Reference is made to the Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.183 dated 31.03.2008. Under the said Government Order, land to an extent of 60.86 acres is sold to Mr.V.N.Devadoss, Director of M/s.V.Gurusamy Naidu & Co. (P) Ltd. by M/s.Dunlop India Ltd. The layout plan for construction of flats was submitted to the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority. The Government has passed an order on 31.12.2015 for administrative sanction for the scheme. It is further submitted in the counter that the Tamil Nadu Housing Board has obtained approval and permission from various Government Departments .
3. As none appears for the petitioner, the writ petition is
