The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 26.12.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 201, 120B, 364, 394 r/w 109 IPC, in S.C.No.131 of 2023, now pending on the file of the Mahalir Neethi Mandram, Fast Track Court at Villupuram, seeks bail.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner has been arrayed as A1 in this case. A2 is the father of the petitioner herein and he had been granted bail. Thus, he prayed for grant of bail to the petitioner. 3.It is the case of the respondent that the mother of the defacto complainant was found missing and when they made enquiries, it came to be known that the daughter of the accused had borrowed money from the deceased and the deceased had demanded money. It is stated that the accused persons had murdered her and buried her in their own house.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the deceased had humiliated the accused persons. Though the accused made arrangements to 1/3
repay Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand only), still she was humiliated them and therefore, the act of murder was committed. 5.Petitioner should not take the law in their own hand. Let the trial progress. At this stage, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner herein. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 11.10.2023 mkn2/sli 2/3
