This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to include the petitioner's daughter in the list of NRI eligible candidates for admission to the Tamil Nadu State MBBS NEET-UG counseling 2025-2026 and permit her to participate in the counseling rounds of Tamil Nadu MBBS NEET-UG 2025-26 under the NRI Quota.

It is seen from the records that, on 29.08.2025, no representation for the petitioner. Therefore, this Court directed the Registry to post the matter today. Even today also, no one is represented on behalf of the petitioner either by person or through counsel. 3.
Hence, the Writ Petition stands dismissed for default. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
