When the matter was taken up for hearing, affidavit of the respondent was filed and the relevant portion is extracted hereunder: "
9. I respectfully submit that after completion of elaborate and detailed investigation, I conclude the investigation and altered the offences from u/s.279, 337 IPC @ u/s.279, 338 IPC. On 10.04.2024, the respondent police have filed a final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Thirukalukundram through efiling vide No.LTN20230001503 C202500052 dated 05.02.2025 and the same was yet to be taken on file."

2. In the light of the above development, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirukazhukundram to act upon the final report filed by the respondents in Crime No.359 of 2023 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
