The petitioner seeks bail in Crime No.11 of 2023, registered by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 506(1) of IPC r/w Sections 7 & 8 of POCSO Act, 2012. The petitioner had been remanded to judicial custody on 13.09.2023.
2.The age of the petitioner is 20 years and the victim child is 14 years.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that there was bad touch of the victim alone but however, the statement under Section 164(5) of Cr.P.C., of the victim child had been recorded and it has been quite revealed that torture had been given to the victim child and quite apart from that particular fact, threat was held out to the younger sister and the mother, that they would also be killed by using known henchmen of the petitioner herein.
4.The statement of the victim child will have to be taken into consideration.

ata 5.In view of all these factors, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
