ORDER

The Revision Petitioner herein is the 1st defendant in the suit in O.S.No.4267 of 2020 on the file of learned VII Addl. Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai, which was filed by the 1st respondent/plaintiff for the relief of declaration and other consequential relief of injunction.

2. Since the relief claimed by the Revision Petitioner only seeking a direction for a speedy disposal, the notice to the respondents is dispensed with.

3. The learned counsel for Revision Petitioner would submit that the the 1st plaintiff, who is aged abut 73 years filed a suit in the year of 2020 and now the suit is riped for trial. However, since because the contesting defendants have filed their written statement long back, so far, there is no progress in the trial. Therefore, he wanted to direct the trial court to dispose the case as early as possible.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances and also the fact that the 2/4

1st plaintiff is aged about 73 years old senior citizen and the suit is pending from the year of 2020, but even after filing of written statement by the contesting defendants, so far there is no progress in the trial and on considering the age of 1st respondent/plaintiff, this Court is inclined to direct the trial judge to commence the trial and dispose the case as expeditiously as possible within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
