O R D E R

(through video conference) The Writ Petition challenges the order No. RC.272/2017 BCE/NH dated 27.09.2019 passed by the First Respondent declining to grant a copy of the award of the land acquisition proceedings relating to the Second Respondent.

It has been informed by Mr. Niranjan Rajagopalan, Learned Standing Counsel for State Information Commission, which is not a party to this Writ Petition that the Second Appeal filed by the Petitioner against the order of the Appellate Authority confirming the order, which is impugned in this Writ Petition, has been taken on file as S.A. No. 1910 of 2020 on 24.02.2020 before the State Information Commission, but could not be listed for hearing thereafter due to COVID pandemic. 3.

The Second Appeal in S.A. No. 1910 of 2020 filed by the Petitioner before the State Information Commissioner shall be taken up for hearing on 01.10.2020 and the Petitioner and the Respondents shall appear for that hearing without fail. If the State Information Commission is not in a position to take up the matter for hearing on that date, it shall inform to all parties concerned of the adjourned date of hearing in the prescribed manner. The State Information Commission shall afford full opportunity of hearing to all parties concerned following the prescribed proceedings in consonance with the principles of natural justice and shall pass reasoned orders on merits and in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed on the aforesaid terms. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs.
