ORDER

The above writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus to the respondents to consider her representation dated 10.07.2025.

2. The case of the petitioner is that her husband Venkatesan, who served as a Driver under the second respondent, had died on 28.05.2025, due to sudden heart attack, while he was on duty. Even after a lapse of one year, his terminal benefits were not paid. The petitioner had also submitted her representations dated 24.06.2024, 23.10.2024 and the last representation was on 10.07.2025, to the respondents to release the terminal benefits, which her husband is entitled to. Since the respondents have not taken any action, the petitioner is before this Court. 3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader who takes notice on behalf of the respondents. 2/4

4. The only request of the petitioner before this Court is for an early disposal of her representations dated 10.07.2025, requesting to release the terminal benefits of her husband late Venkatesan. Since the respondents have failed to act upon the said representation, a mandamus is issued to the respondents to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 10.07.2025 within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
