Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3 to 5 respondents to settle the payment of compensation of Rs.18,20,392/- with interest for acquiring the land in S.No. 61/3C to the extent of 1722 Sq.Ft. situated at Cowl Bazzar Village, Pallavaram Taluk, Chennai for the project of expansion of Chennai Airport in acquisition proceedings in Na.Ka.No.5/2011 dated 09.11.2016 on the file of he 4th respondent based on the representation made by the petitioner dated 23.08.2024 and the undertaking given by the 4th respondent in Na.Ka.No.05/2011/A dated 17.03.2023.

By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondents, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 3 to 5 to make payment of compensation determined for the lands of the petitioner situated in S.No.61/3C to an extent of 1722 sq.ft., in Cowl Bazzar Village, Pallavaram Taluk, Chennai for expansion of Chennai Airport.
3. It is the case of the petitioners that the subject property belonged to her and the same was acquired for expansion of Chennai Airport by the respondents. The compensation for the acquired land was determined as Rs.18,20,392/-. However, the said amount has not been paid to the petitioner till date. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation on 23.08.2024 before the respondents 3 to 5 seeking payment of compensation already determined. The said representation has not been considered till date. Hence, the petitioner has come by way of this writ petition.
4. Mr.S.J.Sathik Mohamed, learned Government Advocate, who is taking notice for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 23.08.2024 will be considered by the 4th respondent on its own merits and in accordance with law, within the time fixed by this Court. 3/6

In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the 4th respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.08.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
