ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to file the final report in Crime No.98 of 2024 dated 10.04.2024 on the file of the respondent police.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was joined in a WhatsApp group of D4 - Goldman and the petitioner was induced to transfer some amount to the stock analyst on the promise that the amount will be transferred to the petitioner's account and thereafter, they had not allowed the petitioner to withdraw the amount. The grievance of the petitioner is that though his complaint has been registered by the respondent police in Crime No.98 of 2024 for the offence under section 420 of IPC and Section 66D of Information Technology act 2000 on 10.04.2024, the respondent police has not conducted any investigation and there is no progress in the investigation.

3. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent is directed to conduct investigation and file the final report expeditiously.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
