This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to call for the records in D.V.A.No.10 of 2017 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Gobichettipalayam, Erode District and quash the same.

The learned counsel for the petitioners has filed a memo dated 27.10.2020, wherein, it is stated as follows: "It is submitted that the respondent herein and her husband A.Ashok Kumar have arrived at a compromise to end their marriage relationship and decided to apply for divorce on mutual consent. The respondent herein has agreed to withdraw the domestic violence complaint in D.V.A.No.10 of 2017 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Gobichettipalayam, Erode District after

receiving a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- towards Settlement and the petitioner herein has also agreed to withdraw the above quash petition to facilitate the withdrawal of the D.V.A. on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Gobichettipalayam, Erode District.

Therefore, it is most humbly prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to permit the petitioners to withdraw the above quash petition in Crl.O.P.No.17493 of 2017 and dismiss the same as withdrawn and thus render justice."
