This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register a case on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 03.06.2022. 1/4
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that she has given a complaint on 03.06.2022, against one S.B.Parthiban to the Commissioner of Police, Salem and the same was forwarded to the Superintendent of Police, Salem for taking action; but, so far no fruitful action has been taken.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that current paper enquiry has been initiated in CSR No.1036 of 2022 by the second respondent police to whom the first respondent has sent the complaint for enquiry and appropriate action.
5. Since the petitioner has given a complaint as early as in the month of June 2022, it is appropriate to direct the second respondent to complete the enquiry and do the needful in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
6. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
