ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for quashing the FIR in Crime No.6 of 2017 dated 20.01.2016 against the petitioners/accused 2 to 4 for the offences under Sections 498(A) & 406 IPC and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002, on the file of the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Chidambaram, Cuddalore District.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the 1st respondent, on instructions, submitted that there was some matrimonial dispute between the petitioner/husband and the respondent/wife in H.M.O.P.No.6 of 2017 pending before the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate-I, Parangipettai. After mutual discussion, the petitioners/accused 2 to 4 had filed their compromise memo dated 25.01.2021 before the Court below.

3. Recording the above submissions made by the learned Government Advocate, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition, hence, the Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
