O R D E R
The petitioner, who apprehends the arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Section 7(1), 7(3) of the Lotteries (Regulation Act) and under Section 112, 318(4), 336(2) of BNS, in Crime No.09 of 2025, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent submits that A1 and A2 in this case were found in possession of Kerala lottery tickets, which were seized from them. On further enquiry, it has been revealed that the banned lottery tickets were supplied by the petitioner, who is absconding. It is further stated that there are 39 previous cases of similar nature registered against the petitioner.
3. Recording the objections of the respondent, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
