Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent herein to provide necessary police protection to the Bailiff to execute the warrant to evict the 3rd respondent herein from the building Door No.51 & 52 Kumaran Colony,Vadapalani, Chennai-26 in connection with E.P.No.451 of 2022 on the file of the Hon'ble XI Small Causes Court Chennai.

ORDER

The petitioner herein being the landlord and succeeded in the execution proceedings is before this Court seeking police protection to the Bailiff for the execution of the warrant to evict the 3rd respondent as per the decree.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that if the Bailiff requests police protection, necessary protection will be provided for execution of Court decree.

Recording the above statement of the Government Advocate(Crl.Side), this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to make a request for police protection through Bailiff along with execution warrant issued by the Court and if such request is raised, necessary protection shall be given to the Bailiff according to the Court order. No costs.
