ORDER

The petitioner herein apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent for the alleged offence under Section 194(3) of BNS Act @ 108, 49, 85 of BNS Act, 1 / 4

in Crime No.201 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner herein is the mother-inlaw of the victim girl who committed suicide by hanging. Hence, the case.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that the R.D.O. enquiry reveals that the death was due to dowry harassment and that this petitioner has been implicated.

4 Considering the nature of crime, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 19-08-2025 drl 2 / 4
