This application has been filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking for extension of time for one (1) month for passing the award by the sole arbitrator in the arbitration proceedings.

2. Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned counsel for the respondent.

3. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the case is now at the stage of passing of the final award. Hence, this Court is inclined to extend the mandate for a period of two (2) months from today.
