This miscellaneous petition seeks extension of time to comply with order dated 05.09.2023 under which the petitioner was directed to deposit 25% of Rs.37,52,486/- to disconnect electricity connection.

The petitioner has been able to pay only Rs.3 lakhs and seeks extension of time to pay the balance. He is granted time of six weeks to pay the balance amount of Rs.7 lakhs. If the amount of Rs.7 lakhs as directed aforesaid is not paid within the time frame stipulated then the department shall be entitled for disconnection of the electricity connection without further reference to the parties or to this Court.

The DD No.910159 dated 04.10.2023 for sum of Rs.3 lakhs has been received by Ms.Keerthana Shena, learned counsel representing Mr.L.Jai Venkatesh, learned Standing Counsel, for onward transmission.
