O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to measure the land measuring an extent of 1 acre comprised in S.No.31/7, Seruvangi Village, Gudiyatham Taluk, Vellore District, to fix the boundaries, effect sub division and to issue separate patta to the petitioner, his brothers and sisters jointly within the stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's application for measuring the petitioner's land in accordance the law, if the petitioner is otherwise eligible, after issuing notice to all the adjacent land owners namely, all the land owners of the four boundaries of the the petitioner's land and all the interested parties/rival claimants if any. The abovesaid exercise shall be completed within period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the abovesaid direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
