The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in Crime No.246 of 2023 registered by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 294(b), 392 & 397 of IPC.

2. It is stated that the petitioner herein along with other accused had threatened the defacto complainant and snatched away a sum of Rs.1,500/-.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that A3 had been arrested and had secured bail. However, bail is very seriously objected by the respondent stating that there are 21 previous cases pending against the petitioner herein including offence under Sections 307 and 302 IPC.

4. Taking into consideration the antecedents of the petitioner herein, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. According, this criminal original petition stands dismissed. 11.10.2023 ata https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
